The work as a nurse within the group and service housing for disability care is challenging, rewarding, and varied.

We are now looking for a patient-responsible nurse for our group and service housing. You will work in a team of four nurses, where three work with group and service housing and one works with social psychiatry. You are part of the team around the patient, which means you have close collaboration with other nurses, care staff, rehabilitation personnel, doctors, and other professions both internally and externally.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you are responsible for health and medical care at a municipal level for the patients in disability care. You plan your work based on your assessments, thus allowing for a free work style under the responsibility that lies with you. You collaborate closely with unit managers and care staff at the residences and other healthcare providers.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • guidance and teaching for residents, relatives, colleagues, and students
  • medication management
  • medical assessments/actions/follow-ups
  • delegation
  • documentation
  • collaboration with other professions and other healthcare providers
  • participation in SIP/team meetings
  • participation in various collaboration forms and potential networks

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience, who has an interest in patients with disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses.

Very good oral and written skills in Swedish and a B driver's license are required.

If you have previous experience in municipal health and medical care, psychiatry, and disability care, it is an advantage.

You should feel secure in your professional role as a nurse and be able to work independently, where your assessments lay the groundwork for your work. You should be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and have good communication skills. You are positive and driven and feel confident in prioritization and planning. You find it easy to collaborate with others and are an effective listener.

OTHER

During the interview, you as a candidate need to present proof of citizenship in Sweden/EU/EES or a valid work residence permit.
